In 1998 Mercedes Benz introduced the SLK (R170)-class motorcar. SLK stands for “Sport”, “Light” and “Racing”. One of the most innovated aspects of the Roadster is the electric folding metal roof. With the touch of a button, the roof rises from the trunk and converts the SLK from a convertible to a hard top coupe. In 2004 the 2nd generation SLK (R171) was introduced with a tapering front end styling by Steve Mattin “Formula One” inspired and has quite a similarity to the SLR which sells for over $300,000. This particular roadster is a one owner; always garage kept and is in pristine condition. It has a clean Carfax, all books and an extra key. It is finished in a flawless bright signal red with champagne beige leather interior. It is fitted with 3.0L V6 SFI engine with a 6 speed Fully Synchronized manual transmission which affords one excellent handling.
