Here we have a clean Truck for sale at No Reserve. It is a 2008 Ford F-250 Supercab Shortbed 4X4 with the FX4 Sport Pkg. These really have a unique look with the painted Bumpers, Grille, Etc. and the 2-Tone interior. The Dark Shadow Gray color is really sharp and the pictures don't do it justice since it was late in the evening. The truck is in clean condition for the year and mileage. It has a light scrape down the right side and a small dent in the front bumper but the rest of the body is very nice and straight. The truck is also decent underneath with minimal rust since it came from Virginia. The truck runs and drives but is smoking when the engine reaches operating temperature. We believe it has an EGR cooler blown so we have not driven the truck far to keep from doing further damage. It starts quickly and the engine sounds great with no miss or noises at all but as soon as it gets warm it will start smoking white smoke. We are selling the truck AS-IS with repairs needed. We can't guarantee the head gaskets or further repairs won't be necessary when it gets torn down so keep this in mind although we strongly believe the EGR cooler is the problem. Most people remove them and leave them off these trucks which eliminates any future problems. All in all this is a very decent truck for someone that can do the repairs cheaply. I would strongly recommend transporting the truck to eliminate any further damage to the engine and the buyer will be responsible for shipping.
