Hot Rod Marquis… I purchased this neat Grand Marquis from a local neighbor and have thoroughly enjoyed driving it through the summer and fall. It is a perfect running car with some tasteful performance upgrades that you can purchase and drive across the country without needing a thing. The 4.6L V8 has headers, upgraded throttle body with Spectre intake, nice complete welded exhaust that has great sound, and it handles great. There are no warning lights, good PA inspection through 4/17, and a nice set of matching Goodyears with more than 50% tread. The only thing I had to address a month ago was putting a new high-output alternator on. There are no leaks and the car doesn't smoke. The interior is in great shape with the only wear and tear being a split on the seam of the driver’s seat bottom. All the power options work, radio sounds good, A/C is cold and heat is hot. The car is comfortable with firm seats and no bad smells of smoke or pets. The body looks great without any dents or rust. The undercarriage is clean as a pin. The fiberglass cowl hood is very nice, lights have been upgraded, and I had the intention of painting the top side of the car over the summer as the factory paint has peeled on the roof and trunk lid but life gets in the way and that’s how it is. I am putting up the car for a “no reserve” auction, highest bidder takes it, as I must make room in the garage. As my uncle who builds muscle cars has told me, you can’t build another one for the price of the extras, so good luck bidding.
