Rare! Wide-body 1942 GMC 2-Ton Special Order for the U.S. Navy. 44k original miles! MILITARY SPEC CLEARCOAT to protect during shipping. Custom wheelbase. Factory POWER BRAKES! 5-Speed Clark transmission. This truck has a tag indicating it is #381 of a special order (See pictures). The military also ordered the optional dual windshield wipers, dual heavy-duty tow hooks, external battery mount, and rear pintle mount. Hotrodders will like the Special wide body fenders. At a full 74" across they can easily cover a full-sized chassis and wide tires. CLEAR MONTANA TITLE IN MY NAME. Free storage for 1 month after auction while you arrange shipping. Truck is in original unrestored condition. I put a battery in it but it didn't turn over. Could be a bad ground, bad starter, or bad motor. Windows are cracked and rear needs replaced. Bed metal is solid but needs new wood. Some tires hold air, some don't. Hand brake works great. Extra heavy duty steering wheel not found on other trucks. Steers very easy.
