For auction a very nice 1968 Triumph TR250 Overdrive car,from what the previous owner told me it was sold new to a gentleman in the U.S. Embassy he kept it for a number of years and then sold it to a gentleman in the Danish Embassy,when he was transferred home after a number of years he took the car with him and performed a sympathetic restoration on the car,this i believe was in the mid 90's,he was then transferred to the Japanese consulate and took the car with him again,the gentleman that i purchased it from was a member of the Canadian embassy in Japan and got to know the owner of the car and purchased from him in around the year 2000,when he was transferred back to Ottawa Canada he brought it with him and then retired to Nova Scotia where i eventually purchased the car from him,so as you can see it has an interesting history,the car is a very solid example of a tr250,never patched up as far as i can tell,the car runs very well and everything works as it should including the overdrive,as i said earlier in the description the paint is older but shines very well and is very presentable the underside and interior is also very nice as can be seen in the photos,i have put a very reasonable reserve on the Triumph so please serious bidders only with money,shipping is up to the client,i will help any way i can but buyer pays the shipping costs please be aware that the triumph is in Nova Scotia Canada,the vehicle is sold as is where is no warranty implied or given,any questions will be answered promptly,thank you,and good luck bidding.
