1974 VW WESTFALIA Very good running 74 Westfalia selling for a very good friend that does not use a computer. My buddy is a 70 year young guy that bought this VW because his soon to retire wife wanted one to go camping. She thought her girl friend and herself would take it on long bike trips here and everywhere. WELL that never happened so it is up for sale. This little Westy almost has a complete new interior. All recovered seating and sleeping areas, new door and kick panels STILL IN BOXES NEXT TO BUS, new windshield and weather stripping, almost new tires and new hubcaps. Her canvas area is in good condition with only 2 small areas that has been repaired and totally functional! All of this is true and all good. All doors open and close properly to include the slider! Her sheet metal is VERY STRAIGHT down her sides, and all glass is good to include the roll out windows. Mechanically she is in good shape as are her brakes and charging system. As to rust: in the floor area it is almost non existent!! One small area about the size of a hardball behind the driver seat. The engine cradle appears to be in great shape. Here is the bad, but not so bad!! The exterior rocker panel area from the slider back is in need of repair (THE FLOOR IS FINE), as is what would be the lower 6 to 7 inches of the quarter panel areas on both sides. NOT to include the back of the Westy, THAT AREA IS FINE. I'm not a VW expert by any means, but if you have any questions they will be answered honestly.
