Vehicle Detail
1966 Mercedes Benz 230SL Florida Car No Rust Runs Excellent No Reserve For sale by 3rd owner. This 230SL is in very good condition and rare to find a survivor anymore. It has been gone through mechanically this year and runs out strong and smooth and needs nothing. The original paint color was a two tone; Havana brown 408 body with metallic beige 462 top and wheels. Dash board is still the same Havana brown color. Color of body was changed to ivory and is bright and shiny and very presentable. The interior is original and presentable as pictured. The dark brown soft top is in excellent shape. This is a Florida car, it has no rust whatsoever. Everything operates as intended. No leaks or drips on garage floor. Comes with original books and tool kit. Drive it home. This is an amazing specimen. You won't find many unmolested like this still remaining. Enjoy it while it appreciates. Enjoy it while it appreciates! NO RESERVE! Highest bidder gets it! Call Paul with any questions: 614-332-3796 On Apr-04-16 at 16:08:22 PDT, seller added the following information: This car was originally a factory 2-tone car. It came from the Mercedes factory with 408 Havannah Brown body color and 462 Beige Metallic hardtop and hubcaps. When this car was repainted, it was color changed. Reading off of the car's datacard: 408 Havannah Brown - Body 462 Beige Metallic - Hardtop + Hubcaps If you want to see what the original body color looks like, look at the dash. The factory always made the dash color the same color as the body color. Hope this clears up any confusion.
