WHILE PARKED ON A NEW CAR DEALERS LOT A SEVERE RAIN EVENT OCCURED. AS PER THE DEALERS INSURANCE POLICY ALL THE INVENTORY WAS CONSIDERED A TOTAL LOSS EVEN THOUGH THE CARS DID NOT SUSTAIN ANY SIGNIFICANT WATER DAMAGE. THIS PARTICULAR CAR ONLY HAD VERY MINOR WATER DAMAGE ON THE CARPET. OUR SHOP REMOVED THE INTERIOR AND THE CARPET AND CLEAN AND DRIED IT. THERE ARE NO ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS UNDER THE CARPET SO NO ELECRRICAL ISSUES CAN OCCUR. OUR SHOP INSPECTED THE ENTIRE CAR AND FOUND NO ISSUES.
