1969 GMC C1500Rare Custom Deluxe Edition v8 350 Automatic Original PowertrainFactory AC truck (recently upgraded Vintage Heat)This truck is a true survivor that has been well taken care of and it shows. Two owner truck having spent it's entire life in Georgia! Bought recently from the original owner's son and has been in his family since bought new! It runs and drives great and still has the original engine and drivetrain. The engine (original 350 CID) fires right up and runs smooth with no knocks or rattles or mechanical issues. I have owned it for six months now and has been my daily driver. The exhaust is new dual exhaust recently added. Has original hubcaps and all four tires are a matching set and are in nearly new condition. Factory Air components removed to install new Vintage Heat system for the Winter. I was planning to later install AC parts. The body is in fantastic shape and is very straight. I recently had the truck painted two tone blue and white and it is sharp. I get compliments every where I go. It is not perfect but looks nice! Recently replaced all factory wood grain trim and all side and dash emblems. Truck still retains original bumpers and grill, which shows the truck's character. The grill may need replacing to go with the new paint at some point. The sheet metal is all original and solid and according to the prior owner (who knows the history) said that the only thing that's ever been replaced is the drivers door. The original floor pans are in great shape as is the entire body! We removed original carpet and left floor pans visible as they are in good shape and planned to use rubber mats. It is a LWB. The interior is in very nice condition with the exception of the seat upholstery (worst is driver's side), which is to be expected for its age. The foam seat padding is still intact and in good condition but the seat would need to be recovered or seat cover installed to avoid further tearing. The dash pad is new in great shape and all gauges work as they should, with new interior parts installed throughout the cab, except for seat cover, rear view mirror, and visors, which are still in good shape. Still has the original working AM radio! The glass, all the way around, is all there and the truck has a factory rear sliding glass window. Windshield has some milking on left side but otherwise in good shape. All lights work as they should. Overall, this truck is in great shape inside and out with a nice patina. I have been using it as a daily driver and it would make a great daily driver and enjoyed as is or it is a definitely a solid candidate for an easy "back to original" restoration. It would also make a cool shop truck. These are very hard to come by in this good of condition. The reserve is set low and is priced to sell. You will be hard pressed to find one in this shape! New parts installed throughout include: New battery, new Starter, New Edlebrock Intake, New 4 Barrel Edlebrock carb, New dash pad, new door handles, new upper and lower side woodgrain trim. new tailgate emblem, new side emblems and dash emblems, new gas tank, new dash bezel, new steering wheel, new side sport mirrors, new shift lever and signal lever, new vintage heat system., new rear main seal, new oil pump.
