When we buy the previous nights trade ins from the new car dealers in our area, we have to buy the bad with the good and the dealer thought this one was bad but it really is a good one so you might just steal this one from me. Just traded, here is a 2000 BMW 528i sedan with a manual shift, cold ac, hot heat, lots of buttons and the car runs just great. No leaks from the motor, a strong clutch and the car goes down the road like a nice car should. There are a few things to mention however and the most important one is that the speedometer and odometer do not work all the time. Once in a while it will pop on and work for short time and at other times is just lays on zero but the title reads 166501miles and is not branded as true miles unknown. There is a brake light and a airbag light on but the airbags have not been deployed and you can see the damage to the front bumper in the pictures below. The body straight and shows no signs of prior body work but the two bumpers are marked up pretty good and a couple minor dents on the nose. There is no rust on it or under it and the original paint is good otherwise. The interior is in very nice shape with no rips or tears in the leather, the car has nice carpets, dash and headliner and doesn’t have burn marks or smells of tobacco. If you wanted a sporty sedan and know how to shift gears and don’t mind doing a few odds and ends to a car, here is a very good running car that will be sold as is and with no reserve and I’m sure you will buy this one on the cheep so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-2PM. You can of course bring your own temp tags if you prefer. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items. Regarding Liens None of our cars are sold with existing liens on them and all titles are in hand when the cars are sold. Since eBay has decided to include history reports on all the old cars as well as the late models, there are lien records showing up on the reports. All cars have had liens on them at one time or another especially when they were newer. Our cars do not have existing liens. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. “Prior to re-conditioning” We test drive our cars prior to offering them for sale on this auction and any faults are disclosed to the best of our ability. We do not run them through a service facility but rely on our experience to tell you what problems they may have. Our prices are generally way below the average retail values listed in the most popular pricing guides so our cars are not detailed or re-conditioned but sold in the same way they were purchased or traded. They are simply washed and put out for sale. You will not find the motors cleaned and you won’t find shiny protectorates such as “Armor-All” on them and the cars will be in their original traded condition. This allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are showing. We will not under any conditions guarantee the check engine lights or any dash warning lights as if they are on we will disclose this and we do not do a diagnosis to see what it is because they can come on at any time for any number of reasons so these lights are not guaranteed if they come on for you. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly. Let’s not waste each other’s time.
