This Is a solid 1987 Dodge D-100 Ram with the diehard 225 slant six engine, & automatic transmission. This truck is all original, and it runs extremely well....... The truck has a great patina to it with only surface rust, no rot as this has been a desert truck. The dashboard is free of any cracks & the carpets are still good. The seat has a few cracks bad seams ( pictured ) the original headliner is still in tact & in very good condition. This truck goes down the road very well & shifts smoothly! The miles are allegedly original. This truck has been sitting for a few years as the owner passed away & the truck was handed down to the owners son. The hood ornament is missing, chrome trim pictured will come with the Truck. The AC works but is cool only, not ice cold should have a recharge. I do not believe this Truck to have ever been in an accident. The Truck will be sold with a bill of sale & duplicate California title, these documents were signed prior to the owners death. There are approximately $700.00 in back fees to the state of California & the vehicle will need a smog to transfer ownership. I see no problem with this truck passing smog as it truly runs extremely well. If you live outside of California none of the above is an issue. There is one small dent in the right rear panel ( pictured ) minor! the tailgate will not open, I think the clip inside is off. The tires look ok & the tread is decent , but they are weather cracked & should be replaced. It needs a couple of pumps with the gas pedal on cold mornings to start, but fires right up & runs smoothly. You will find numerous scratches & scrapes consistent with a vehicle of this vintage. All in all the body of this Dodge is very good & would take a new paint job very easily. Myself I would leave it the way it is as it actually looks pretty cool. They are only original once ! The new owner of this truck should be quite happy & if you have gotten this far along on this ad, you must know of the reliability of the slant six engine.
