2000 Beetle TDI. I bought this to give to my daughter but since she lives in snow country I gave her my Audi Quattro.I bought this car from a VW mechanic and it had a bad transmission. I found a transmission that was just rebuilt less than 8K ago. It came off a VW that was being transported and the transporter lost hydraulics over the car and the car above it came down on top of it. Totaled that car.I saw the receipts and a heavy duty valve body was installed. Right before I bought the car the VW mechanic just replace the injector pump from Volkswagen and the timing belt along with the water pump. I have changed all the fluids. Engine oil synthetic Rotella. Transmission fluid with filter. Radiator coolant.The car runs and drives excellent.Interior above average condition. Seats and head liner in excellent condition.Tires excellent.New battery. Front brake pads.Now the bad. The car has some hail damage but you have to be close to see it. It really does not look that bad. That is why the price is low. There is some scratches and dings but nothing all that bad. The pictures show the body faults. I will deliver the car up to 1400 miles for 350.00 as long as you can get me to a major airport. I do not give out my reserve.This car is not perfect but is an excellent runner and it looks good even with the hail damage.
