Up for auction today is my 1956 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery 2 door Station Wagon. Finished in Black with a Black custom interior with red accents. This car started out as an original V8 car from the dry Arizona Desert that has been "lightly and tastefully" customized some time back before I acquired it in South Florida. I will do my best to describe the details but I am not a custom car guy although I have owned a few tri-5 Chevys over the years. Starting with the body this car has one of the cleanest if not the cleanest original ones I have ever seen. The under carriage and frame are super clean most likely due to the fact that this car was never in the winter climate . The hood has been Louvered and that is the only customizing to the body. The car has a 350 V8 engine with a 4bbl Edelbrock carb and intake manifold and an aftermarket gauge set up . It has a turbo 350 transmission with a Lokar floor shifter. The car has an Aluminum radiator and is set up for Air Conditioning with the compressor and pulley system in place. The rest of the A/C will need to be completed by the new owner probably with a vintage air unit that should run around $800 . The exhaust system is in really nice shape with clean powder coated headers and full to the back dual exhaust. Also the car has a chrome tilt steering column with a 69 Corvette steering wheel. A really cool and useful addition is the power window set up with power vent windows . The car has a full 4 wheel power disc brake set up that stops this car on a dime straight and true. The suspension is lowered 2 inches all the way around and really sits nice. The front suspension has a Hotchkiss type tubular control arm set up with power steering. The wheels are Corvette 8 inch Chevy rallys with like new but older BF Goodrich Radial TA tires. The headlights,tail lights,turn signals and brake lights all work as does the windshield wipers. The car starts easily and runs very well with no issues. The turbo 350 transmission goes right into gear and shifts nicely. The Paint job on the car is really nice and shines deeply. It is an older paint job so there may be some slight imperfections but nothing that stuck out to me to describe. Over all this is a nice driving car that can be enjoyed from day one and later taken to the next level. I have done my best to describe the car but may have left some things out so please call me and ask all your questions before you bid.
