Vehicle Detail
Here we have a rare truck for repair. It is a 2005 FORD F-250 CREW CAB SHORT BED HARLEY DAVIDSON 4X4. These were very special trucks. They had a lot of custom features including the special paint job with painted flames, unique colors (blue was one of the rarer colors) and also special interior that was only available in the Harley Trucks. As you can see this one has damage in the front end and left rear. It will need both bumpers, a hood, front fenders, grille, head lamps, door edge repair, both airbags, and the bed repaired or replaced. There is some frame damage to the front horns that is repairable but the rear frame looks ok. The bed is just pushed up from the rear which made a smaller gap at the top on the left front corner of the bed. The nice thing is the truck starts right up and lot drives fine. I even drove it a 1/4 mile to our storage facility with no problem but did not take it out on the road because I was afraid the radiator would leak although most of the coolers appear to be OK. It was in good condition before the wreck. The original rims are great and the tires have good tread as well. Also the rest of the paint and body is in good condition as well as the interior. It will make a very clean truck when finished. This will take a qualified shop to do the repairs since it does have some frame damage. It will also need both front airbags replaced. It has a West Virginia repairable Salvage Title. This is repairable in all states and will be treated like a regular title for registration after repairs are made and a DMV inspection is done in your state. All in all this is a pretty simple fix for any good body shop. The description and pictures should show everything very well but if you have any questions please e-mail or call us at 304-567-2999 and we will look closer at any area of concern to you. Thanks for looking and Good Luck bidding. Ted & Seth Davis
