Vehicle Description Just arrived is this very restorable example of the ultra-collectible W111 Chassis convertible from Mercedes-Benz, a 1963 220 SE Cabriolet. This car was an unfinished project that sat for the last few years, and remains mostly complete and ready for a swift and painless restoration. This is a real Cabriolet by VIN, and not a converted coupe. There are many new parts installed in the car, and more parts in the trunk (see photos). The chrome and bright work is in very good shape, and the wood is complete and presentable. The glass is all there, and the windshield is excellent with no chips or cracks. The soft top looks to be almost new. The sheet metal all looks very good, but there is rust underneath that would need to be repaired (see photos). Running condition of engine and 4-speed manual transmission is unknown, but presumed to be operable. Please watch the video and look at the large photo library to get a feel for this cars condition.
