Vehicle Detail
No Reserve!! Bid to win this bug! This is a 1971 Vw bug with a Kommander split window kit install on it. The kit was professionally done including fenders, dash, and split window. It's painted like a WWII bug from the war and was used for parades. The previous owner said over $12,000 was spent making this bug like this! It runs and drive excellent! The bug has a new rebuilt engine, freeway flyer transmission, new tires, rebuilt steering and wipers assembly's, CD Player and new headliner. The brakes work great! The car runs and drive well and gets lots of attention. I recently took it on a 240 mile round trip to the mountains and back. Headlights, blinkers, wipers all work. The only thing that don't work is the horn, fuel gauge, and speedometer. This is an older restoration, while it looks great it's not perfect, but a great driver. The passenger rear fender has some light spidering of the paint near the blinker and small chips on the paint through out but mostly on the rear fenders. The floor pans and battery area are good! It also drips a small drop of oil. The black mark on the deck lid is a sticker I covered up for the purpose of the pictures, the black mark isn't there. Also stored in the garage and never been wet since I've owned it. Clear south carolina title in my name ready to be transferred. Feel free to call me Andy at 864-556-9695 with any questions The bug is sold as is where is! Your welcome to come look it over prior to bidding, winning bidder must pick up in Anderson, SC or have it shipped! The engine running video was shot 9/23/2015
