Vehicle Detail
2001 Jayco Ford E250 Van 4x4 RV Motorhome Too many things in my driveway and I'm currently building this incredible van's upgrade. Considering the ridiculous cost of a Ford version SportsMobile ( Sport Mobile / Sportmobile ) this is an alternative that will get you almost anywhere that you can actually afford. The miles are approximately 149,000 but growing as the van is currently still driven. Please see pictures for an idea of all the features that are in this 4x4 RV Motorhome Van. I have a converted old Ambulance 4x4 also for sale. I am now doing a very extreme 7.3 diesel RV conversion. This van is my third in what seems to be a long career of our 4x4 camping tastes. My first one - was me working on a very low budget. It was extremely ugly and almost completely rusted through G30 Chevrolet. Those old GMC vans did not hold up well in the corrosion department. My second one, I was still on a budget but I wanted something reliable, low miles, and long lasting. My third, the one we are talking about in this ad, came about as my budget increased and family interest increased as well. I sold my 1st rust bucket 4x4 RV and my Ford Excursion to get this ultra nice van that could do both what the RV does and Excursion did. We could carry 9 passengers in one configuration or use it as a sleep aboard land boat by simply folding the seats into their bed position. Here is a partial list of what the van has. I'm sure I'm forgetting something but here goes. 1) Fox Shocks on all 4 wheels 2) Limited slip 3.73 axle in the back AND front 3) Side Door spot light 4) Limited slip front axle via a Yukon limited slip set up. This makes this van a true and extreme 4 wheel drive 5) TV 6) Exhaust Fan 7) Rear Air and Heat 8) Front AC - Heat 9) Inverter 10) External 110AC connection to power inside electrical outlets from an outside source. 11) Refrigerator and Freezer 12) Crazy amounts of storage 13) Manual Locking Hubs 14) 4 wheel drive push button 15) Hi and Lo range 4x4 16) Tow bar with wiring 17) 2 batteries 18) Brake Box 19) Porta Pottie in an elegant wood grain box that matches the cabinets. 20) Good BF Goodrich Rubber 21) Great RV Graphics 22) High Capacity Alternator 23) CB Radio 24) Shore powered air conditioning for camping in remote places or at a camp ground. 25) Microwave 26) Sink 27) Moe (see below for more details about Moe) 28) 2 inch receiver mounted and welded to frame for a winch or front rack. (front rack not included) 29) wiring with the warn harness already in place for your winch 30) Fresh water tank The front axle has a full 10 inches of travel as compared to 2 inches that came standard on the Quigley's of this vintage. This vehicle has successfully driven on the soft sands of Carolina Beach to the rough mountain trails of TN. If you are looking for a beach machine, they are neck and neck and the difference is small. Remember this van has true 4 wheel drive accomplished by dual limited slip differentials. Vehicle recently passed it's state inspection. EVERYWHERE we go, we get looks, comments, and if I'm at a gas station, I almost always have to give a tour of the inside. I only buy things that are unique and your jealous friends would have trouble duplicating. This is the cheapest way I can think of to get a 4x4 RV with out the inflated prices of a Sportmobile. Don't misunderstand me, Sport Mobile makes a great 4x4 pop up RV, but when I take this one to Carolina Beach -- I get WAY more attention than my two buddies with the Sportmobile or the Chanook. Compare the prices of a Roadtrek and the value increases even more. And This van is simply bad ass. I am loading this ad with limited pictures, expect a full spread later this week. Finally the van comes with a $2800.00 MOE set up. Look at pictures. The rear rack slides into your receiver for trips to the Outer Banks or other places trailers are not welcome. The four covered cubes free a lot of storage room inside your 4x4 RV and provide the tools for a great camping or tailgate experience. One cube is a cooler, one cube is a grill, one cube is a stereo cube with it's own battery. The battery will run 48 hours on one charge thanks to modern technology. It has a kareoke device as well and sounds incredibly sharp. The last cube is a three drawer storage cube for utensils, lights, tools, etc. VIN (Vehicle Identification Number): 1FDPE24L11HA25214 Year: 2001 Number of Cylinders: 8 Make: Ford Transmission: Automatic Model: E250 Body Type: Econoline Engine: Legendary 5.4L Vehicle Title: Clear Drive Type: 4x4 Automatic Options: 4-Wheel Drive, Rear AC Heat - Front AC Heat - Refridge - Shore power AC and electricity Mileage: 142,000 and slightly rising Power Options: Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows -- see above Exterior Color: White Fuel Type: Gasoline Interior Color: Tan with wood accents
