I bought this Classic 1969 Chevelle Convertible from a gentleman in South Carolina a few months back. I had intended to restore it but have too many projects going. I have a 68 Camaro undergoing restoration and a 69 Truck as well. This will make someone a very sharp and rare car. I have not seen any with black interior with red exterior and white top! Original color is Red with White top. The previous owner had it for 16 years. The car has been disassembled but will roll. The following parts are included: front bucket seats and rear seats, two gauge clusters, wiring, new dash pad, new weatherstripping, two consoles, hurst shifter, 4 speed transmission, two hoods, all glass, 1969 date coded 396 block, 396 heads, crankshaft, and tons of parts from prior owner. I am not sure what all is there but was told all the trim and interior and exterior parts are there. The previous owner had included trim and parts of an SS and Malibu both (many of which are new). It does have a ten bolt rear. This could be restored as a Malibu or an SS as in 1969 the SS was a trim package for any Malibu not designated by a separate vin! Car will come with clear title. The car is sold as is. No warranty implied or expressed. . I was told front end parts were replaced, it has new floor pans, and rear quarters were replaced but not done correctly, Will need front left fender replaced as movers let it roll into their truck and damaged it. Bottom of rear qtrs will need finished welding. It was on a rotisserie when I bought it. It will most likely need trunk pan replaced. I know nothing further about the car other than what the previous owner told me that he had owned it for 16 years and has heart trouble and knew he could not finish it. Please see pics and ask questions prior to bidding. Buyer is responsible for shipping and will need to make arrangements as car is in storage. This is a project car and will need quarters finished or redone, trunk replaced or patched, and has a few spots on body in places that may need patched. As stated does have new floors and rear quarters have been replaced. I contacted previous owner of sixteen years and he said the dash vin and title have been verified by the SC Title Dept. as matching and correct for the vehicle. The VIN plate was removed when he was beginning rotisserie on car. He says the vin plate was in one of the boxes of parts but I have not been through all the parts to see what is there. Just want the buyer to know the details on the vin plate. I cannot guarantee it is there as I have not dug through all the parts to try and locate it. I am selling it as I bought it. Included in the sale will be a technical manual and a die cast car, I will be glad to send additional pics to anyone interested of all the parts. I have no idea what all is there. Not sure what is needed and or missing but I know there are many parts! An enclosed carrier may be needed to carry the engine parts and glass. We may be able to load them all in the car but an enclosed carrier would work best. Please ask questions before bidding. I know what these cars are worth when restored! We require a 1000.00 Deposit within 24 hours of auction end balance paid with cashiers check which must clear bank before car is picked up.
