Selling some of our Family collection ! Up for auction is this 1942 chevy truck. If your looking for a great old chevy truck to restore or even use for a rat rod project this would be a great truck. It has a 235 chevy engine with 4 speed transmission. The rear tires were replaced on this truck about 10 years ago and they are showing light signs of age but look great with lots of life left. We were also able to find a really nice set of front tires for it and those are included with the truck. The engine does not turn over and will most likely need to be rebuilt or replaced. Truck has a heavy duty hoist with steel beam supports. We have not been able to test the hoist system but those rarely need work. the carb has been cleaned. Tranny shifts into all gears and clutch feels like it is working good. The truck does not have working brakes and those will need attention. Some typical dings/dents for the age of the truck. Also included are a set of front fenders and upper fender extensions that we were able to find for the truck. You will probably want to replace the grille and lower chin panel. Truck has a clear title and Vin tag is in place on the RH side of cowl under the hood. Truck is a 1942 Chevy. Payment terms: We would prefer not to use paypal for payment on this truck. If you have no other way to pay except paypal we will accept it but prefer not to pay the PP fees if possible. Cashiers check or cash would be preferred. We are allowing 10 days for payment so that you have plenty of time to get the check in the mail. Check must clear our bank before we will release possession of the truck. We can store this truck on our property until winter time to give you plenty of time to arrange transportation and find a low cost shipper . If you need longer we can probably arrange that as well but would prefer that it is picked up before winter.
