1978 Jeep CJ-5 rolling chassis, body is clean and straight, axels and suspension in good condition, tires and wheels, including spare, are in good condition. has bucket seats from a sedan (unknown make & model) but upholstery is in fair condition. No serious rust anywhere, no body cancer, etc. Note that we bought this vehicle in the condition as is offered, we had intended on installing a small diesel engine and 5 speed tranny in it. The previous owner had removed the jeep engine and tranny and installed a small block V8 and automatic. He did NOT run the jeep because of issues with driveshaft alignment and so in our opinion it was not hot rodded or abused. The previous owner did cut the front inside fenders to install the V8 engine with headers and also cut the radiator bridge to install a bigger radiator. That radiator is in the picture but has since been removed. This is a good rolling chassis and body if you want to put it back to stock 4 cylinder it would be fairly easy. We will offer the Renault 4 cyl turbo diesel and 5 speed tranny & transfer case only to successful bidder, please email if interested. We did NOT install that engine and tranny so it would still be a project. We have a $1,500 reserve on this car, what we paid for it but will consider highest bidder so if you are interested bid like you mean it! We can arrange shipping within a 750 mile radius of 86441 so if you can not collect it yourself we could deliver, $1.00 per mile, just go to google maps and put in our zip code and your zip code and multiply the resulting mileage by $1.00 and that is delivery cost, we will not quote mileage, you obviously have a computer, you do it!
