Vehicle Detail

This is a 1992 Corvette coupe with a 300 HP engine and 4 speed automatic transmission. It has two roofs -- the standard red one and an optional see-thru one. (The see-thru one has an aftermarket, removable sunshade.) The car also has the optional premium Bose Cassette/CD radio, leather seats, and a power driver's seat. The car is original -- original engine, transmission, paint & interior. Also included is the Owner's Manual and the original VHS tape. Also included is the window sticker (laminated for preservation), build sheet, and 1992 dealer's fancy brochure (still in the original envelope.) Also, there are two ignition keys and three door keys. Also, there is a custom fit car cover for indoor use only and a leather-like pouch for the removable roof. The car has 54,500 miles and a clean Carfax -- no accidents, no suspicious mileage.) It drives and runs great. The engine is smooth and strong. The transmission is smooth and quiet. It has Kumho Ecsta 275/40 R17 all-weather tires with about 1/2 of the tread remaining. Everything works on the car. Overall the car looks very good. The red paint is bright and shiny, but if you look close enough, you can see small stone chips and other evidence of 50,000 miles travelled. If you get as close as a foot away, you can see micro crazing of the fiberglass around the front of the car and places where chips in the paint have been touched up. One wheel has some road rash. The others have places where the clear coat has worn off. The wheels look good from about 10 feet away but they really need to be re-finished. The interior looks excellent. The leather seats are great and have just a few wrinkles. The carpet is still a dark black and there are no worn or thin spots. The red hard top is excellent but the transparent acrylic top has many small cracks. (I understand this is common after 20-25 years.) You can't see these cracks from the outside and the acrylic does not leak. This car is selling as is. It is not a perfect show car but it looks great. It is strongly recommended that you come and inspect the car in person. Email me to arrange a time to do this. This is a must see! No bidders with zero feedback unless you ask first.
