Up for sale is a 1998 Ford Mustang GT coupe with automatic transmission. 1 owner car, low mileage. Our needs have changed (have a kid, and our rear-facing carseat doesn't fit in the back seat!), so we're getting rid of what has been an exceptionally reliable and inexpensive car to operate. As with most 17 year old cars, this one does show a normal amount of wear inside and out. It has been well cared for, but as with any vehicle this age, there are bound to be some signs of use. I've tried to show the overall condition as best I can in the photos. The right front vent (Passenger's side) has been broken (see photo), and may need to be replaced. The car has just been cleaned, inside and out. This has been a "no smoking" vehicle since day 1. The car was involved in a minor accident (low speed, airbags did not deploy) in 10/2004. Several body parts were replaced or repaired by a local professional body shop used by our insurance carrier. 10 years on, there is some evidence of those repairs, which you can see in the photos. The car was also scraped in a parking lot several years ago when another car swiped the parked Mustang on the rear right panel. That damage was not fixed, but can be seen in the photos. Despite the cosmetic damage, the car has worked remarkably well mechanically, and has needed no major repair beyond the normal routine maintenance that has regularly occurred (oil/filter changes, new tires, new wiper blades, battery replaced, etc). The mustang gets mileage in the low to mid 20's on highway driving, and around 18-20 mpg for in-town driving. The car has a ton of power, and is a lot of fun to drive. The Mustang has a current VA inspection (through end of August, 2015), title is clean, and this car is ready to go to a new home!
