Mostly Original 1957 Chevrolet 3100 Series Pickup. Half Ton Shortbed. This truck has been buried in a garage in Sacramento CA since 1992. I used a lawnmower gas tank to the carb and jumped the battery and it fired right up. No smoke. Ran it around the block with no problem. Has Original 235 inline 6. Runs smooth with no noise or smoke. Original 3 speed has an aftermarket floor shift kit. I went in forward and reverse. Brakes were up and working, didn't even need fluid. E brake also working. To be a driver will need fuel tank cleaned, new battery and battery tray for firewall. And tires (due to age). Could use a complete restore or clean up and drive as is. Your truck, your call. Needs some glass, windshield has a star about the size of a quarter on passenger side. Driver wind wind and door glass cracked. Truck is a true 57 but has the wrong 56 type grill sitting in it. Will need the correct grill. Body is very good with very minimal rust. Mainly scaling on floors when I pulled the original mat and and under felt. but no holes in floor. Steps are good with blisters on passenger side about the size of a stick of gum. Driver side very good. Bottoms of front fenders good, around inside roof where they rust is excellent on this truck. Bed and fenders are all good and very straight. It is primed but not loaded with bondo. Bodies this good are getting hard to find. Little rust in bottom of passenger door under weatherstripping. Has heater and spare tire carrier. Number Matching truck. Cab Vin, frame, title and Old CA pair of black plates all match. So no issues shipping anywhere in the world.
