Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a 2000 Chevy Express 1500 cargo van, with 141,737 miles. V8 5.0L engine, automatic transmission. Runs and drives with absolutely no issues. I have owned this van for the last 3 years and have kept it well maintained. Regular oil changes will full synthetic Mobil 1 oil. I have replaced the upper and lower ball joints, inner and outer tie rod ends, upper control arm, all shocks, tires and rims, fuel pump, sending unit, battery, MAP and MAF sensors, front wheel bearings, rotors, drums, and all brakes within the last year, mostly as part of the regular maintenance. Just had an all-wheel alignment done after the front end work. There is a small leak in the front of the oil pan that I haven't addressed yet as it isn't too bad. I have purchased the oil pan gasket, oil pump (new), timing chain and timing chain gasket, water pump, and serpentine - all are brand new and will be included. Also it has the cargo bulkhead with locking walk through door that will come with it, I removed it to make it more family friendly. Rear seats are bolted to the floor but would remove easily if not needed. They are OEM GM with seat belts. The air conditioning works great, as does the remote start. Also has a back up beeper. NO rust - body is in very good condition but does show normal wear and age, a couple of scratches and scrapes. There is a section of paint coming off of the back barn door, I have been a little obsessive about washing it. 18" aftermarket cast aluminum rims with good Hankook tires, probably 75% tread left. Has a nice 3500# Reese hitch, but I rarely pulled a trailer with it. Trailer brakes are installed but haven't been wired in to the pigtail yet. I really love this van, but it's time for it to find a new home. It has been awesomely dependable, and never let me down. It is ready to work, or be a family truckster. I wouldn't hesitate to drive this across country. It has tons of power and runs like a top. Local pick-up will be free. Any shipping required must be arranged by the buyer. I strongly encourage an inspection before bidding - if you aren't local I would be happy to forward a video of it running, and I will answer any and all questions promptly.
