Offered for sale is my 1969 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This car is finished in its original factory color combination of code R Regimental Red over a Red interior with a White convertible top as it came originally from the factory. This is a Real GTO as the vin number decodes as well as the Pontiac Historic Documentation proves. The car is powered by the 400 4 bbl YS code motor and its Turbo 400 automatic transmission. This GTO also has some of the most desirable options. Bucket Seats with center console and floor shifter, Power Steering, Power front disc /rear drum brakes, AM/FM Radio(needs speaker),Rally II wheels with correct PMD center caps and a power convertible top. This GTO retains all of it's rust free original sheet metal with no evidence of patch or repairs. It has been a rust free salt free southern car all of its life and the undercarriage is clean as it should be. The previous owner stated that this car had been garage kept all of it's life. This is an original unrestored car that has only had cosmetic and maintenence work done to it. The engine starts up easily and runs well. The turbo 400 transmission was overhauled a year before I bought it and works perfectly. The steering feels tight and the car drives very nicely down the road. The brakes stop quickly and smoothly without pulling. All in all I believe this car could be driven anywhere.I have a clean and clear Florida title in my name .
