In 1971 GMC began producing the GMC SPRINT it was there version of the Chevy Elcamino. Sprint offered an SP(Special Performance Package) equivalent to the SS package for Chevy which came with an LS3 402ci big block.This Sprint is a number matching INVADER LS3 402ci big block with a 400 turbo transmission. Sprint has power steering, power brakes (disc in front), A/C,all new interior,rare bench seat with arm rest.This Classic had a frame on restoration.Sprint has a rust free lazer straight body.It has a custom wooden bed that looks great that can be removed if wanted. Some of the SP options are round gauges,special wheel package,special steering wheel, boxed trailing arms, 12 bolt rear, cowl induction hood and Big Block.This classic is Rare in 1971 only 4364 custom SPRINTS where produced which only very limited BIG BLOCKS where built, some records say less than 100. These cars/trucks are getting hard to find. This classic runs excellent and handles like new it has a up graded HOCHKIS SUSPENSION.
