This W113 was a project undertaken by a retired engineer, who completely disassembled the car, neatly labeling and boxing each item. The body was placed on a rotisserie, and made to be entirely free from rust. It includes the hard top and soft top frame, all glass, and all parts that were disassembled and boxed. To our knowledge, this car is entirely complete and fully ready for restoration/reassembly. It is a rolling chassis, and the motor, (manual) transmission, and rear end are bolted in place. The running condition is unknown, but it can be assumed that the retired engineer (now deceased) had bolted back in a working motor after having taken the car apart. We purchased this car from the gentlemans estate, where it had been parked in a garage for the last few years, safe from weather. This car comes with a clean Florida title, and a thick stack of receipts and records on the restoration in progress, including some snapshots of the gentleman preparing the car.
