bidding on a true survivor barn find. this is a '52 chevy styleline deluxe, powered by a 235 ci. six cyl. motor with its original powerglide transmission. the car was parked in 1958 and remained in dry storage until the early eighties, at that time the engine was completely rebuilt and the car again went into dry storage, where it remained until very recently. the car runs very well, it drives and stops but the tires on the car are from the '50s, so I wouldn't recommend a long trip. the interior is 100% original and is EXCELLENT, the only flaws in the interior are the drivers side door panel is worn through near the arm rest. still has its original carpet etc. all lights are working. the trunk still has the original spare and jack as well as tool bag. the original trunk mat is still in place. This is a rust free car. period. there was at some point some surface rust on the fender skirts, someone painted them with primer. otherwise, they are excellent. I bought this from the original owners grandson. this is truly a time capsule car, and you would have to look long and hard to find one more complete, original and in such decent shape. As I said, Ithe car runs, drives and stops. however as with anything this old, it will need some work to be road-safe. cars pretty dusty, but will clean up quite nicely with a little effort. car sold as is. car is located 20 min. west of Detroit Mi.
