2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 SLT 5.9 H.O Cummins Diesel Description: Up for auction is a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 H.O cummins diesel in great condition. The truck is an SLT model, 4X4, Crew cab 4 door, short bed vehicle. Everything works on the truck, including the 4x4. The air conditioner and heater work well. It's been a blast to drive and very dependable up until 2 months ago. The truck has become "hard to start". It will start and run excellent with a tiny squirt of starting fluid. I know its not good to use it and only have done this method about twice. I'm not a mechanic and honestly don't know what causes the "hard starts" to occur so please bid accordingly. Once it turns on it runs and drives excellent! I have taken a video of it running at idle and a quick walk around. If you are interested in viewing the video, see below. The interior of the truck is clean with the exception of the rip on the drivers seat and a few common dash cracks that have developed on these models. There is a custom dash mat that not only keeps the interior cool but hides the cracks as well. In addition, the radio was removed (sorry, my apologies) to use in another vehicle. However, no wires were cut. You can install your own or buy an original which doesn't cost much. There is also a rear view camera that is still mounted on rear of the truck and will be left for the next owner. The body on the truck is fairly clean with light scratches and a very slight dent toward the rear (see pictures for details). What you see in the pictures is what you will receive. Like stated before, besides the "hard start" truck runs, it drives smooth with 160,000 miles on the odometer. I encourage you to inspect before you buy. I can be reached at 956-867-75O6.
