Up for sale is my 1961 Ford F100 short bed step side pickup truck. I am the third owner and the truck has had an easy life. it has the original 6 cyl. motor and 3 speed manual trans, column shift. the truck is all stock and in good driver quality condition. the truck has 135k orig. miles, the motor just had the top end done within the last 2k miles. and it runs excellent, no leaks!. the transmission was rebuilt several years ago and shifts good. the steering is nice and tight and goes down the road straight and smooth. tires still have many miles of tread left on them,brakes fell very good. it has been repainted once 30 years ago and is showing its age a bit,there are a few little scratches/nicks and there is some oxidation/ discoloration but still looks very decent. the body is super straight and not showing any signs of rust. it does have a little rust on the underside bottom of the door steps but very minimal for a truck this age (54 yrs old)it has a new windshield and seal, the rest of the glass is original Ford and in great shape.the wood in the bed is original and in fair condition but still usable, the bed sides are extremely straight as is the bed rails. the truck seems to be dependable, always starts easy, runs cool and cruises 50-55 mph easy, it is not a freeway flyer and doe's have stock rear end gears. everything works except the horn. the heater and defroster work excellent. this is a great example of an old truck that has had a good life, never abused and well maintained. the interior is very clean with nice original paint throughout, drivers door shows some patina from the arm out the window wear. the seat was just recovered to match the original color.. it comes with the original owners manual and the Ford tool kit and has a clear California title in my name and currently registered.I also have a list of repairs and parts installed going back to the mid 1980s. for any further info. call 949-429-5382.
