Listing is for a 2002 Jeep Wrangler X 4x4. This vehicle is in fair/good condition. I bought this as a bone, stock, vehicle in 2004. It was bought used and only had one other owner. I built up this Jeep and turned it into a reliable, dependable, mean off road vehicle that could still be used as a daily driver. It was some sort of special edition that Chrysler/Jeep created with the gray interior and brown seats. The vehicle appears to be wet because I had just washed it before these photos and it was 22 degrees outside and not drying very quickly without freezing! The hood does need to be repainted. The Jeep runs fine with no missing or squealing. The odometer reads 90481 miles, but it probably has less miles on it. I never had the speedometer/odometer recalibrated for the higher gearing. The odometer reads speeds faster than you are actually going. The steering seems a little loose and the steering wheel has some give when turning. I'm not a mechanical person, so I'm not sure what is wrong with it. It still drives fine. The AC blows very cold and the heat is very hot. The AC only blows on high right now and blows mostly out of the dashboard vents. The factory soft top was replaced a few years ago with a Bestop sunrider top. The top has some fading and the back window ripped from the cold weather. The back window does need to be replaced. The screen of the in dash DVD player possible needs a new servo. The screen sometimes comes out and sometimes does not. The stereo and CD player portion work fine though. I had to get this listing up quickly, so the pictures show the rims as half painted black and without the lock rings. They will be fully painted black and have the lock rings in place before the sale. The hood mount hi lift rack with the lights needs to be wired, but does work. The vehicle body does not have any rust, or holes, however some of the aftermarket brackets do have some rust on them and need to be sanded down and repainted. The body is in great condition though with no rust, holes, or huge dents. The Jeep may look ugly on the outside, but it is a beast underneath. It has been a beast off road and has never failed me. If you are an off road enthusiast, you will love this Jeep and it will give you a great platform to start with if you want to upgrade and build it up. The transmission was rebuilt roughly 5 years ago and the transfer case was rebuilt roughly a year and a half ago. I do not have the title for this vehicle, so I am selling this vehicle as a strictly off road vehicle, or to be used for parts. All reasonable offers will be considered. This vehicle is being sold as is. Like I said, I am not a mechanic and can only describe to you what I know about the vehicle from driving it daily.
