1977 VW Bus Westfalia Camper Amazing Sage Green This is an amazing original condition 1977 VW Westfalia Camper. I purchased this bus from the second owner's widow. The bus was last registered in 1992. As the photos will show, it is in amazing original condition. In over the 30 years that I have been in this industry, there have only been a handful of vehicles that have really caught my eye. As you'll see, this is most definitely one of them. When I purchased the bus, it had a bad cylinder head. We have pulled the motor and have completely gone through it, put new bearings, new pistons and cylinders, rebuilt the heads, new alternator, and completely went through the original fuel injection. Our very own Chirco technicians have done everything on this bus. They have tons of experience as we just went through our 30 year mark of serving the air cooled VW industry in parts and service. With this being said, there is less than 100 miles on this bus since the technicians have fully gone through it. This bus is ready to head out onto the trails, as soon as it hits your door step. The stove works perfectly. We removed and had the propane tank updated and certified. We put a new water pump in for the sink. The refrigerator pump did not kick on so that is the only thing that would need to be addressed. However, the refrigerator is so small that an ice chest would work perfectly. We have put a brand new canvas tent in the bus as well as replacing all of the pop top seals. We replaced the front windshield rubber and rear window rubber, so both are brand new. The bus runs and drives absolutely flawlessly. As this picture shows, the original sage green paint is darn near flawless. Even the original faculty decals are in tact. This photograph also shows the brand new Westfalia pop-up tent and brand new tires. This photo shows the 110 plug in box on the side of the box, that has been tested and works perfectly. This photo shows under the passenger side rubber floor mat that there is absolutely 0 rust and that the paint is in amazing condition. This photo is the drivers side under the rubber floor mat is in the same amazing condition. As you can see in the photos, the front seats are perfect as are the original factory door panels. Steering wheel does have a few heat cracks but has no affect whatsoever. The dash is in perfect condition with no cracks. Photo was taken before a new stereo system was added. Drivers side of the bus again. The paint is perfect, with only a little paint removed under the rear quarter window. Has a little bit of patina rust on the body surface, but not throughout the entire body. You can also see the that the bumpers are in beautiful condition. Behind the left rear wheel in this photograph, there is a small dent which is the only body damage on this vehicle. In the back of the bus, you can see there is the original factory curtains that cover the windshield and front windows. It is in amazingly perfect condition. The rear cargo net is also included however it does have some dry and brittle pieces. Also included but not shown in the photograph is the child's cot that goes over the front seats that is in amazing condition. This photo shows that the taillights are original German. There is not discoloration. The lights work perfectly, blinkers, hazards and even the door buzzer works to notify you that the door is ajar. This photo shows the detail of the engine compartment where everything is in the original factory condition. The heater systems works perfect, the engine tin foam seal is new as well. Another beautiful shot of the passenger side rear. The windows operating flawlessly and have new screens in them. The side sliding door operates perfectly as well. This photo shows the swivel table in place. The original seat upholstery is beautiful. The seat belts are flexible and clean. The power inverter works perfectly. Dome lights work as they should. Original carpet is absolutely perfect and has just been cleaned as well. Accessory table is stored where the spare tire would normally go, as the spare tire is mounted on the front of the bus. There is tons of additional storage space inside of the cabinets. This photo shows the accessory table installed over the shifter. All brackets and table are very solid and in perfect condition. This photo shows the gas burners both lit. Again, the propane system has been certified and new hoses are installed. A toast to such an amazing original condition, original paint, survivor bus that is ready to enjoy!! The photos speak for themselves. As you can see, this bus is a truly wonderful vehicle.
