Lap of Luxury… Just traded, here is a very nice looking and as perfect-running S80 sedan as you can find with a couple extra miles but with a new timing belt and healthy interior, this one was looked after and is ready for many more. The 6-cylinder 2.9L motor runs nice and quiet, isn’t leaking underneath and has a new timing belt service sticker under the hood which we all know is the best indicator for good service. The transmission shifts flawlessly, the brakes are strong, the suspension rides smooth and comfortably going down the road and the exhaust is quiet and doesn’t smoke. With current NJ inspection and no warning lights illuminated, you can hit the key and take off in a good running one. The interior is very nice with heated, power, memory genuine leather that isn’t ripped up, torn or burned, there are only small wear-and-tear marks like a seat belt rub on the driver’s seat bolster and the center console armrest which being the only marks is impressive. The carpets are clean and in tact, no holes or burns there either, the dash is perfect and the headliner is clean and not nicked up. No foul odors or signs of pets, all the power buttons work properly including windows, locks, cruise, the stereo sounds good, the heat is hot and the a/c is even cold which thanks to these warm winter days I kicked on for a moment. The body of the car looks nice with shiny silver paint that looks just terrific, nice factory wheels and just a handful of small nicks and door dings to mention on the sides of the car but the bumpers aren’t scraped up. There is no clear coat peeling or fade, no major dents, no signs of rust anywhere and for one that’s seen the extra miles it certainly was kept out of harms way. The front left turn signal is held in by tape but works properly and isn’t broken. The only recommendation I would make is to put a set of tires on the car as the ones on there are showing their age. If you were looking for a very nicely kept Volvo S80 full-sized sedan that runs top-notch, this one will be sold with no reserve so thanks for looking and good luck with the auction. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-2PM. You can of course bring your own temp tags if you prefer. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items. Wholesale to the Public We are wholesalers in the automobile business since 1949 and the mainstay of our business is to supply other dealers with vehicles that we have either traded or purchased in a wholesale capacity “as-is” with no warranties either expressed or implied. Regarding Liens None of our cars are sold with existing liens on them and all titles are in hand when the cars are sold. Since eBay has decided to include history reports on all the old cars as well as the late models, there are lien records showing up on the reports. All cars have had liens on them at one time or another especially when they were newer. Our cars do not have existing liens. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. “Prior to re-conditioning” We test drive our cars prior to offering them for sale on this auction and any faults are disclosed to the best of our ability. We do not run them through a service facility but rely on our experience to tell you what problems they may have. Our prices are generally way below the average retail values listed in the most popular pricing guides so our cars are not detailed or re-conditioned but sold in the same way they were purchased or traded. They are simply washed and put out for sale. You will not find the motors cleaned and you won’t find shiny protectorates such as “Armor-All” on them and the cars will be in their original traded condition. This allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Check engine lights and others will be mentioned if they are showing. We will not under any conditions guarantee the check engine lights or any dash warning lights and we do not do a diagnosis to see what it is because they can come on at any time for any number of reasons so these lights are not guaranteed if they come on for you. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly. Let’s not waste each other’s time.
