1940 Ford Kustom Dually Pickup Truck. Flathead motor starts and runs great. 37,939 miles! Full Kustom heavy metalwork inside and out. Military Aircraft style bucket seats. Heavy duty floor mats. Military fuel tank with Heavy Brass Cap. Military bed with 2 toolboxes and spare tire. Georgeous Patina! Arctic heater and defrost package. This ex-military truck was purchased by a premier luxury hotel (Hotel Finlen, Butte, Montana) to ferry luggage between the hotel and the train station. This was the best hotel between Seattle and Chicago at the time. This truck may have carried the luggage of notables such as Charles Lindberg, Mrs. Herbert Hoover, Harry Truman, John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, and many more.. This truck was in dry storage for about 40-50 years and feels like a time-capsule. It runs very strong. Brakes take several pumps so could use bleeding or maintenance. Drive shaft parking brake works excellent. Some glass has beautiful age bubbles but could be changed for absolute clarity.
