1948 CHEVROLET FLEETLINE Vintage Autohaus & Imports is proud to present this nicely preserved Chevy coupe. The car has a very solid body no signs of rust. The undercarriage has solid floors and trunk pans. The car had a repaint 10 years ago and still shows well. All of the exterior chrome and stainless are very straight and shiny. The interior was redone and is in very presentable condition. The dash and inside trim also show very well. Car has original straight 6 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission which has been converted to 12 volt system. Engine starts easy and the brakes work well. On Dec-23-14 at 08:02:39 PST, seller added the following information: After some questions were asked about the engine being original. The engine is not original to the car as stated in the listing. The car would have been built with a 216ci. The engine codes out F211A on the stamp pad. This engine is an upgrade to a 235ci which would be better and period correct.
