We thought we would be able to slow down some and build this car, well it's been five months and nothing is getting done. Wedid some block, head and connecting rod work for a customer and took this in trade, seemed like a good idea at the time. It's a 1965 2 doorhardtop / fastback 289 four barrel automatic car. No power options, no A/C. The engine was out when we got the car and still is. Every nut and bolt is bagged and tagged. Transmission, driveshaft, block, heads, factory cast iron 4 barrel intake, carburetor, distributor, brackets, radiator, factory fan blade, pulleys, all outside moldings {which are in great shape}, exhaust manifolds, is all there. Dual exhaust is still under the car. Interior is amazing condition. Dash is in excellant shape with the factory radio still in place. Carpet might be cleanable, but it's probably just as easy to replace it. The car has all the normal rust as you can see in the pics. Frame rails will also need repair or replaced. Another customer said the frame fit several years and 2 or 4 door was the same.?? Car will be sold rather inexpensively, lots of great parts, just need to move it along. Dash has not been damaged in any way. Pretty cool simple project.
