Vehicle Detail
1947 GMC 300 Series barn find (many folks think they started making these in 1948, but this is one of the rare early-production 1947 trucks). HUGE FACTORY POWER BRAKES! Amazing tiger-stripe patina, strait metal. Beautiful bronzing of the original zinc coating. 248 GMC motor is top quality with more power, better bearings, and better filtration. Starts and runs awesome. RARE optional governor on engine ensures that this motor has never been over-revved on the highway! This is a very strong running engine that I would not hesitate to drive anywhere. Oil is clean and stays that way. Shifts and clutches great. 2-speed axle is a lot of fun and gives more power AND better top speed. GMC dash shifter is simple and easy to use. Brakes need bled or new master cylinder. Nice gauges, dash and interior but seat need re-done (is functional with current seat cover). Good floors. Clean door bottoms, rockers, cab corners, and lower cowl. This truck is NICE! Please see pictures for the condition of this beautiful GMC! CLEAN MONTANA TITLE IN MY NAME! Truck is currently registered in Montana. Title will be sent by Registered U.S. Mail after payment. This is a no-reserve auction. The 'buy-it-now' price is the winning bid. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Truck is located in Stevensville, Montana 59870. Feel free to call with any questions. Marcus 406-360-8628 Thanks for checking out this cool old truck!
