Vehicle Detail
Item description The item you are bidding on is my 1969 Chevy Impala SS427 convertible. I have had it for many years and I am the 3rd owner as far as I know. They only made approximately 200 of theses models so they are quite rare. I have the original dealer invoice sheet (stating SS427 option), Pro-tec-to plate, owners manual, bag, dealer brochure and a mountain of receipts going back 40 years. As far as I know the drive train is numbers matching and it runs decent. It has a brand new convertible top, headers and exhaust as well as seats and carpet. All else still needs to be restored so understand you are getting a car that needs an almost full restoration. It originally came with air conditioning and is a power steering/brakes car. As you can see it has the bucket seats with console setup that is very desirable. These only come up for sale rarely and almost never with paperwork, this is the real deal. Fully restored number 1 cars book at $66,000.00. It has the 427/390 horsepower, TH400 trans and 12 bolt differential, ignore the air cleaner decal it is just one I had laying around. It is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied. You are solely responsible for all shipping and costs of shipping or you can pick it up. I might be able to assist somewhat on my end getting it to a carrier close by. I require a $300.00 deposit 48 hours after the closing of the auction, the rest you can pay when you pick it up or before you ship. I strongly suggest looking at the car in person or having an agent inspect it for you before bidding, please ask any questions and I will try and answer honestly as possible. It is not a project for the faint of heart, 40 years of rust, budget repairs etc make it a true project car, count on it being worse that you think and you will not be dissapointed. Lastly, I love the car, it is a ball to drive and always the only one of it's kind any where I take it, thanks Paul.
