This is a beautiful 1981 Delorean DMC-12 Gullwing 2dr sport coupe in fantastic condition with only 56761 original miles. This great little Delorean was restored by Delorean Motor Company in Humble Texas from 2005 - 2007. We have the book from Delorean documenting all repairs and replacement parts in the restoration, with over $43,000 spent. This is not your average DeLorean, this car is very very nice and restored by the experts. There were approximately 9,000 Deloreans built in Dunmurry Ireland from 1981 - 1983, and not vey many left on the road especially in this condition. BODY: Brushed 304 stainless steel, no paint, gullwwing doors. INTERIOR: black leather bucket seats. ENGINE: PRV 2.85 ltr. V6 with stage II performance upgrade. TRANSMISSION: Manual 5 speed. BRAKES: 4 wheel power disc, 10" on front, 10.5" on rear. SUSPENSION: 4 wheel independent with rack and pinion steering, coil overs on all 4 corners. WEIGHT: 2,212 lbs EQUIPMENT: Power steering, tilt and telescoping wheel, power windows, air conditioning, power door locks, power mirrors, int. wipers, rear window defroster, tinted glass, Alpine am-fm cd. WHEELS&TIRES: Stock 14" DeLorean alloys on front with 195/60R14 radials, stock 15" DeLorean alloys with 225/60R15 on rear. This is a beautiful example of a 1981 DeLorean that has been restored by the DeLorean factory in Humble Texas with receipts and records showing over $43,000 spent on this car over a two year period. This car looks great, runs great and is a pleasure to drive. Records show less than 6,500 of these DeLoreans left on the road today, and very few restored to this quality.
