The car is everything you can expect in a modern day Rat Rod. From the super low stance to the bare metal exterior this car makes a loud statement wherever it goes. Follow that up with some hand built stainless zoomie influenced headers and that loud statement is not just seen but heard as well. This car will turn heads at every intersection and keep people staring at all the little detail work at the car shows. If you are looking for that new age Rat Rod look and want it piled into something that can be daily driven look no further than this 33' Chevy. This car has won at almost every show it has attended since completion including a top 24 at the Syracuse Nationals and even took home a best interior award as well. Since it has been finished it has seen close to a thousand miles and is basically daily driven (weather permitting) as the shop car. It has proven to be a reliable hot rod and functions as well as a finished high end rod. - Frame - CNC front rails with a suicide front end. Speedway 4" drop tube axle with disk brakes. 27" radius rods with custom inserts. Friction shocks. 6" z up front and then a 16" z out back. Rest of frame is 2x4 1/4 wall. Rear suspension is made up of Thorbeck Bros 2 link and watts link. Then its combined with a hand built tubular torque arm utilizing original camaro rear end bosses. Air bags are slam specialties ss series bags done over axle. Generic shocks were used out back. All suspension is powder coated, and the frame is coated using a bed liner. Frame was also fully tig welded. - Air ride - Done using a 2 valve setup. 3/8 smc valves. Viair 450C compressor into a 3 gallon reserve. All lines are copper nickle hard-lined with compression fittings. Dual gauge setup in dash, and single switch for up / down. Compressor has a single switch as well before pressure sensor to shut compressor off at rest. Everything is brand new and will lay the doors on the ground. - Brakes - disk/drum setup using copper nickle lines held with stainless clamps. Done using a underfloor manual brake setup. Master into residual valves and a proportioning valve. Everything is brand new. - Drivetrain - Only thing that is not brand new on the car. Motor is a 305 Chevy pulled out of a Camaro. Backed by a TH350 trans. Motor runs strong, holds good oil pressure. New plugs and wires, edelbrock intake and rebuilt edelbrock 600 carb. New alternator. Motor runs strong and sounds healthy. Trans shifts smooth. Cleaned and painted along with powder coating. Hand built stainless headers with bolt in baffles. (Have a built 400 SBC that can be purchased with car if the price is right. Have more info on the built motor if it is wanted.) - Body - Started off as a rusted out 1933 Chevy sedan. Roof was chopped 4". 2" was taken off the bottom of body to remove all rot. Then it was channeled 4" over the frame. Inside it has 200' of 1x1 and 1x2 tube to reestablish the body. Has a 30s chevy truck dash with autometer vintage gauges. Backup camera for rear view mirror. Floor pans are all hand bead rolled in a diamond pleat pattern and held down with hidden welds and exposed rivets. Doors have been changed to suicide style and have new bear claw latches installed. Door panels are rolled copper with aluminum pulls. Aluminum bomber style seats with hand bucked brass rivets. Speedway wiring kit with fuse box in passenger kick panel access. Tall shifter with heineken beer tap handle. All in all tons of detail work and custom sheet metal. Has won best interior awards in NY. Outside it features a bare metal look. Hand stripped roof and dash. 1959 Cadillac brake lights recessed in, custom license plate area with back up camera and third brake lights. 7" headlights with more hand pinstripping. Have material to make canvas roof that can be included with purchase. - Odds and ends - New rebuilt and reversed Corvair steering box, Rci 15 gallon fuel cell. New battery with remote kill switch in console. Smoothie wheels from wheels vintiques powder coated same shocker yellow over a silver vein base with 41-47 chevy center caps. Sitting on oldschool bias plys. New 3 row aluminum radiator with electric fan. Hand built copper radiator lines. Copper wrapped grill shell with insert. Spark plugs for door latches. Propane bottle catch can. Old school brass his and hers bathroom stall plaques. I know there is things being left out, but photos and video give a great description by themselves. Car is in the process of being possibly used by a couple different rat magazines as well.
