Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Isn't it really time to pamper yourself by sliding behind the wheel of your very own near perfect classic? Have you tired of watching everybody else have all the fun as they cruise down the boulevard on those bright sunny days, leaving you sitting behind the wheel of mom's grocery getter? Come on! Get out of that rut and enjoy life even more than you thought possible. This near perfect beauty features just 67k original miles and, according to the owner, will drive you comfortably anywhere you care to go. With the 400 ci engine and smooth shifting automatic transmission, this solid Town Landau beauty is the optional Jubilee edition & has the standard 8 track stereo, power seats, windows, brakes, and steering along with tilt wheel and cruise control. All gauges including the clock work as they should as do all lights, signals, and wipers. The a/c works, but recently developed a need for a re-charge. The like new interior is in great condition and shows absolutely no signs of wear including the carpet & headliner. The body and undercarriage appear extremely solid including floors, mounts, etc. The owner is not aware of any filler and the body appears very straight and unmarked. A few pieces of stainless have a couple of minor dents, but appear quite nice, and the chrome looks like new. The Mark V style trunk lid adds that extra touch of class to the look of this beauty. We are not sure if it is a factory option or aftermarket product. This great classic would look perfect in your driveway. I am assisting the owner in the sale of this great classic, and upon close inspection was not able to notice any area that has any signs of rust or filler. This car appears to be solid and seems to run and drive well. I am assisting the owner in this sale and can get answers to most questions you may have.On Oct-07-14 at 09:51:54 PDT, seller added the following information: Correction: It has been brought to my attention that Ford did not make the Jubilee until 78. The previous owner told the present that it was the Jubilee and he had no reason to doubt him. I have verified that the Jubilee was made in 78 rather than available in 77. Everything else in the ad should be pretty accurate. Sorry for any confusion. On Oct-09-14 at 11:26:58 PDT, seller added the following information: This is apparently what was referred to as the " Mini Mark " according to retired assembly line worker Danny whose comments are listed below: Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Hi, Nice Bird. FYI, I worked on the assemblyline building the T-Birds in Chicago in '77, '78 &'79. This was probably built there. This is NOT a Jubilee car. The Diamond Jubilee Edition stood for Ford's 75th year aniv. in 1978. There were aftermarket coachbuilders adding extras to these 77 T-Birds to push sales. Dealers would send out certain cars for the add-on's. This was originally a plain Town Landau. A coachbuilder added that fiberglass humped trunklid and the full vinyl roof to impersonate the more expensive Lincoln Mark V of the same year. They called them a "Mini-Mark" & they sold very well. These cars with the "Mini-Mark" option were approx. $12K new compared to $17K for the stock Lincoln Mark V. The humped trunklid & full vinyl roof addition made them look like a mini Mark V. I had one of these "Mini-Mark" T-Birds back then.
