Vehicle Detail
This is a very well preserved Original 1956 Dodge power Wagon. I believe it to be the original engine (I will ad a photo of the number and the experts can correct me if wrong). It fires right up and runs good. This is the first year of the 12 volt. Everything works, lights, gauges etc.. It can be driven as is, i do. 4 wheel drive transfer case all works. Warn Hubs. Original Braden Winch works as it should from the PTO. Used this past year to haul a tree off a roof of a barn. Body is very solid. Has it share of dings and a few weld repairs here and there. Overall very very good. It does not have an original tailgate. It does have diamond plate over the original wood bed. Much of the wood is still underneath. Headache rack and rear bumper are well made and very stout, like the truck. Truck was originally green and you can still see it inside the cab and under the hood. I believe it has spent many years if not its whole life in The sierras and foothills. Possible it was a forestry truck. I was tempted to sand the doors down to find out. But it still looks decent, so I did not. It is complete. A few pieces of glass are cracked. I can hold for 60 days while transportation arrangements are made. Please ask questions before bidding. it will drive onto a trailer no problem. One tire has a leak. I have original "pink" slip title that matches the original vin tag. I will update with serial numbers for the "power wagon guys" that like to research such things. I also Have two more I will be listing so watch for those. A 1952 in about the same condition but not run in about 10 years. Has a dual holley intake and original winch and front bumper. No bed. The other is a 1951 parts truck with good cab and front sheet metal and complete drivetrain. Bent frame, so parts. I will make the buyer a deal if he wants these two trucks too.
