Vehicle Detail

1974 Porsche 914 2.0L Targa(please email me for additional pics prior to bidding, there is a limit on how many can be posted in the listing and I'd like you to have as many as possible to help you make your decision) Very Clean 914, one of the cleanest I've ever seen! 22k Original Miles, this car has spent most of its life in a garage. It drives like a dream, reliable and accelerates quickly - shifts through all the gears flawlessly - stops well and evenly, and has A/C (I have spare parts for the a/c that I'm also including). No rust to be found, all typical trouble areas have been inspected by a authorized Porsche dealer, only signs of surface corrosion found were a few bubbles on the outer rocker panel area shown in pics (Battery tray original and that area looks great),Floor boards, front and rear cargo area's-all solid. The maintenance records and receipts are all included as well as the 2 original keys (1 red 1 black). 22k original milesWide body / Slant noseMOMO course Suede steering wheel14" Mahle BBS Wheels with high tread tiresBosch ignition coilStainless Steel braided brake lines and all new hard linesK&N air intakeBlaupunkt am/fm Stereo/CD playerNumbers Matching Original 2.0L engine with fuel injectionOriginal 5 spd side shift transmissionPerformance ExhaustAir Conditioning (spare parts included) The Tan interior is in great condition and looks fantastic, (gets a lot of compliments) there is some typical sun fading and the seam on the drivers head rest is coming undone(shown in pics), nice oem Porsche leather shift knob and MOMO steering wheel, the Targa top is also in great shape. The paint is Silver with Black, this paint scheme was popular with the Chalon Body conversions, it is not show quality-more like driver quality with some chips & blemishes, there's a crack on the front passenger side fender shown in pics(I have access to reputable body shop and can have it repaired-just give me a call &we can discuss),but otherwise looks good. If you are interested please contact me for more info, between 8am-8pm, call/text me at 407-924-2093 ...George On Sep-23-14 at 13:15:29 PDT, seller added the following information: *I also have a couple boxes of OEM spare parts, (too many to list; approx 350-400.00 worth), I have from other 914's that I will also include with the sale ... **I have the panel and spare tire (with original 5.20 FULDA tire!) that go in the front trunk area (I have pics of everything available-just email me a request), they were removed to show the solid rust free floor underneath, the box shown at the bottom is a cover/housing for the a/c condenser. Nothing has been cleaned or spray painted to mask or hide condition-everything is organic and untouched (aka-dirty), this is ideal to properly assess the condition. On Sep-23-14 at 19:04:19 PDT, seller added the following information: The paperwork included is very extensive, there are thousands upon thousands of dollars in receipts for both maintenance and performance work done, from a new high torque mini starter, to valve cover gaskets, plugs and points, etc. The original paperwork on the CHALON body is also included, along with the original owners manual/maint sched. and red leather Porsche folder. There is even old pictures of the 914 when it first had its makeover back in the 80's. And proof that the air conditioning was installed by Porsche in 1974 (apparently this is a key detail for the few a/c cars out there). It's spent it's entire life in Georgia and then Florida. The folder of records is 3-4 inches thick (there may be a couple hundred sheets of paper) I've owned several classic cars (from the 60's and 70's), this is hands down the most documented vehicle I've ever come across, it would take multiple pictures to show it all.
