1956 GMC 100 Halfton Longbed Pickup Truck. Has Original Pontiac V8 and Hydramatic Transmission. This was a well optioned truck from new. Deluxe cab with full window stainless. Large back window. Original and very rare hood bird (I have been offered $1000 to sell it separate). Deluxe fresh air heater. Has original spare tire and holder under bed. All original hubcaps. The truck was originally red. The paint is cooked off. The colors underneath are original. I guess they used a different undercoating on the cab than body parts as it is white. The body is very good and does not have the usual rust these trucks get. One cab corner is dented good. Floors bottoms of fenders, cab corners, eyebrows and other areas these trucks rust are solid. It has it share of small dents and dings the photos should represent well. Grill is cherry. One nose cone has a ding. Bed is complete but wood has rotted and was removed. Side are very straight. Back of cab nice. Not used to haul much. Mostly grain for cows. Glass is broken in windshield and passenger door. It was broken badly and I removed it. I do have all the stainless trim for it. Back glass is good. No cuts in dash or doors for radio or speakers. Original two tone interior, red and white. It still has its original floor mat in the truck. The truck was driven until the 80's and then parked. I got it from the original owners in Placerville, CA. I do not have title for the truck. It was lost. I do have key. I will provide the lost title paperwork in CA and bill of sale from original owner. If you are in CA I can also have it vin verified so a new title can be obtained. The truck is out of the CA dmv system. So basically the truck is sold on a bill of sale. If you do not know what this entails to get a new title, then kindly refrain from bidding.
