1-Ton Work Van… After four years of use for my wife’s summer camps, she has retired and we now have no use for the work van and up for sale it goes with no reserve for whatever its worth to the next person. It’s a 1-ton Chevrolet 3500 Express cargo van with a third opening side door, a good set of tires, minimal rust and runs very well. There does not appear to be any major leaks underneath, the motor idles high but sounds good and has lots of power, the transmission shifts perfectly and the brakes feel strong. The suspension rides straight, doesn’t wander or pull, and the steering is tight. The truck rides great at cruising speeds and will certainly be a comfortable delivery or work vehicle for many more years to come. The exhaust is quiet, there is a reverse beep sound as it’s a 1-ton van, and the check engine light is on but it doesn’t seem to do a thing wrong. The body is in decent shape with no major damage to any of the panels, a couple small rust spots along the bottom, all the doors operate correctly and all the glass is good. The seats are in fair shape, the plastic floors look fine, the A/C blows but not cold, and she is just a work horse with no frills so I’d expect it to go to someone who needs it just for that.
