I tried to buy this 1970 Nova SS 396 4 speed for over twenty years from the guy that bought it in 1973. Last week he told me he was ready to sell it. I bought it then after looking it over thought it needed more than I was able to do. So it is up for auction. It no longer has the 396 it was built with, but I will include one with this auction. The car now has a 350 in it that was running when parked. The car has bucket seats, 12 bolt with 373 posi, 4 speed,front disc. brakes and still has the 621 bell housing it was built with. The rockers and floor pan do not look that bad but water got in the trunk and ate it up. The 396 it comes with has a casting # 3969864 and build date of A-8-71.
