Much of the interior saw reconditioning as it was nice and just needed cleanup. The posi rear-end, along with a great shifting automatic transmission help this original 350 scoot along well. The car remains very stock and sounds quiet going down the road. If you’re looking for something that feels solid when you’re on the road and handles well, this may just be the car for you. The transmission shifts through gears very well with no hesitation. Although the gas gauge works intermittently, the rest of the gauges as well as all of the lights work perfectly. The headlights pop up quickly, and all the lights including the reverse lights, work. Even the radio works well. This is a great car for a driver.HANDLES LIKE A DREAM She handles well due to many different features: Chevrolet Rally Wheels provide for many different options when choosing your rubber and currently they are fitted with Cooper Cobra Radial GT’s in the front and rear. The Power disc brakes, with all new calipers and rotors, provide excellent stopping power to bring the car back down from highway speeds. The power steering feels great at both high way speeds and while parking. This car also has the original A/C. The compressor Spins and it appears to just need a charge. PAINT THAT HAS CLEAR FOR MILES AND INTERIOR THAT IS VERY NICE The Paint was done just months ago and was a 2 stage job. The clear shines very well. The Panels, doors, the trunk and hood all line up well. The interior has nice seats and a solid dash pad. The headliner also looks very nice and doesn’t droop. The car recently saw new bumpers front and rear as well as a new windshield and new weatherstripping. The car hasn’t been driven in the rain in at least the last 15 years so when the windshield wiper pump went out, it has not been replaced, as there was no need for them in California’s clear weather. This car will make anyone that is looking for a fairly original car, very happy. It is not often you will come across a car with the original engine and transmission.
