1971 Kawasaki H1 500For sale is my rare widow maker Mach III 1971 H1 Kawasaki 500 Triple 2 Stroke. Was running when parked, gas is drained and needs a battery. I could probably add battery and gas and it will fire. Has been sitting inside in storage with my collection for a time now. NO RESERVE AUCTION! Time to let it go to someone that will use it or restore it. Very rare and hard to find in this shape. I have clean, clear and open title in my hand ready to pass on with the auction sale, I will give bill of sale as well if you want. The bike has a little over 11,000 miles on it so it is fairly low still. Compression is marvelous and sounds really good. The tank at petcock I think was leaking last when used or somewhere under there. May need to re seal it. Otherwise a few things missing: signals, left cover decal, speedo glass broke, seat torn, etc. What you see is what you get. Shouldn't take much to get this thing running and going as is or restore it. HAS DENCO EXPANSION CHAMBERS! Front end is very clean and straight. VIN #'s are the last 2 photos. Rear shocks are very clean and nice, not rusted, as well as the RARE Grab Bar that you hardly ever can find on these bikes. Has the original rare "Kawasaki" wheels and rims. Brakes work. This is a must bike in any collection and I am thinning my herd of bikes, I have almost near 80-100 bikes, please look at my other auctions soon when I list other 2 strokes and 4 cylinders! All in all this is a sound bike that needs very little, things I would do is: add lights, new seat or cover, new battery, gas, fix leak at petcock/tank area, obviously new tires and tubes if you want to ride, OR just buy the bike and stick in your collection as is. Its that nice for appearance and original patina. What you see is what you get, no tire kicking, its an old bike, do not expect new. These are collector pieces and I expect the winning bidder will have knowledge on these H1 bikes etc and understand what your buying when you bid.
