Over the last 2 years, the deluxe seats were redone as was the carpet. Much of the interior saw reconditioning as it was nice and just needed cleanup. The center console is nice with only a small crack behind the shift gate. The gauges are mounted correctly and seem to be functioning well. The in-dash tach and speedo work well showing about 4K RPMS at 70 MPH with what appears to be a 4.11 gear set-up in the 10-bolt rear-end. This makes for a stop-light to stop-light killer, with very quick acceleration. When your late for a BBQ, hop in this car and chirp 2nd and 3rd gear to get you there quick. The 4-speed transmission shifts well and the clutch lets out very easy making for an easy cruise. The car caries a gorgeous Marina Blue exterior, with a clear coat that shines so well, you can use the body panels as mirrors. The lines of the body are nice and there is no need to slam doors. All the weather stripping has been replaced with new soft seal rubber. This 350 engine brings in fuel through a Holley 650 carburetor and pumps it down through the dual port Offenhouser manifold. HANDLES LIKE A DREAM She handles well due to many different features: Chevrolet Rally Wheels provide for many different options when choosing your rubber and currently they are fitted with new Prime well 215/70/14’s in the front and rear. New power disc brakes on the front provide excellent stopping power to bring the car back down from high speeds. PAINT THAT HAS CLEAR FOR MILES AND INTERIOR THAT IS VERY NICEThe Paint was done just months ago and was a 2 stage job. The body is seamless and the clear shines like it’s still wet. The Panels , doors, the trunk and hood all line up well. The interior has all been reconditioned, from the carpet to the headliner, everything has been replaced or retouched.
