Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I never thought this day would come, but space issues force the sale of my ‘warhorse’. I have owned this 1983 Honda XR200R for nearly 10 years. I fell in love with it the 1st time I rode it and over the years established a special bond only a motorcycle guy would understand. I was very surprised with how light, well balanced, and powerful it was. The close ratio 6 speed transmission makes it a blast to ride. You can literally creep through super tight woods or jump out on a local road comfortably cruise at 55mph. Yes it has scratches/bumps/bruises but they give the bike character. Yes, the original clutch lever is bent, but your two fingers fit that bend perfectly making for quick gear changes. If you are looking for a show bike this particular XR is not for you. If you are looking for a functional vintage on/off road Honda please keep reading. All lights, switches, and controls work as they should. The speedometer is in great shape and works as it should. The mileage display is more of a little re-settable trip meter so I am not sure exactly how many miles are on it. It does say a lot that 30 years later this bike still has its original handlebars, levers, and ‘honda’ bar pad. Included in the sale is the bike as pictured, a current NJ street title registered in my name, and the original owner’s manual. I titled it on road so I could ride from trail to trail and run errands around town which I did for years. This XR does not have blinkers, mirrors, horn, and some other things that may be required for your state. If you are worried about these details please do your necessary research before bidding.I do not get involved with shipping or crating, please have your finance and shipping logistics sorted out prior to bidding.
